Am I going too quickly for you? If you’re still getting to grips with basic dowsing, this exercise will help you hone your abilities. You’ll need six cups and saucers. Ask a friend to pour an inch (2.5cm) of water into one, place a saucer on top of each cup so you can’t see what’s inside, then arrange them on a table. Hold your pendulum over each in turn and ask: “Is there water in this cup?” To vary the test, put water in five and see if your dowsing power can find the empty one.
